"the movie of my life" starring dave weston
music- the dEALERS kicked this jam out on a lazy evening a long time ago and it was recorded frightfully live on one mic suspended from the cieling of the cavernous old FRIZ Wharehouse on 13th & walnut in philadelphia. it was the night before Charles split to Vermont for good and i think diFuria was getting hassled by his landlord around this era as well. the improv musical vibe was e m o to the max...
vocals- one fine day right after this at a cabbage show at the church in philly dave weston comandeered the easy walkman and split. he re-appeared a few hours later and gave the walkman back. david chambers, who was the original CORNERSHOP drummer was visiting us with his grrlfriend. they were in town for the fuck of it (its a long long story). he had just been kicked out of C.SHOP. later that night we listened to the tape cuz we recorded some band playing at the show. but dave had taped over it, the fucker. later that year John Peel refused to play this record cuz he's an obsolete windbag. it was and maybe still is, the longest 'song' ever comitted to a seven inch piece of vinyl.... original press of 300
